Really innovative bread

Petit France is a bakery located on Kita-Oji Dori.

Recently I’ve bought a lot of delicious pastries there. Not only do they sell good bread but also the prices are reasonable. Then I encountered croque-monsieur.

Two slices of round bread similar to a croissant were piled and covered with plenty of cheese. I bit into it and got a big shock.

I found a thick slice of boiled Japanese radish inside. Soy sauce flavor was well soaked into the radish and a little miso taste had also been added. Miso and cheese are a good combination! I didn’t know that.

This croque-monsieur surprised me so much. It was also hearty food. I was really satisfied with it.

Unfortunately I don’t have a photo of the whole shape because I had never expected what was inside until I bit into it.
